iOS developer Brent Simmons has been on the receiving end of that merciless pile-on and shares his perspective. Please read this and, if you share Brent’s sentiments, pass this along.

What the hell do you mean?
“Hence my plea: don’t threaten people. Don’t abuse people. Ever.”
And this coming from someone who’s been on the receiving end of a linch mob… How is that “nothing”?
You mean he doesn’t go into the specifics perhaps?
Well, the article does doesn’t revisit the details of his previous pain, which is apparently the only thing you were interested in. Unslaked desire for voyeuristic titillations aside, the article nevertheless says quite a bit.
When you tell the moral of a story without the story, it’s just not very effective. That’s what I mean. But of course you guys wouldn’t get that.
