What is your take on the value to a Windows 10 audience? Music or Apple TV? I’m thinking both but mostly the TV part.
Definitely the TV part. Broadening the viewing audience.
Given that it’s only for the Edge browser on Windows 10, it’s likely a technical thing. Just happens to work on that browser/OS combo. If they truly meant to expand the audience it would target more browsers.
Actually, Apple doesn’t allow Windows 10 users to tune in anymore than it forbid them in the past, it just turns out Windows 10 now supports HTTP Live Streaming, Apple’s streaming technology.
Except, iTunes on Windows supports HLS.
