Rob Richman, in appreciation

A bit of devastating news.

This morning, I found out that contributor and long time friend of The Loop, Rob Richman, lost his battle with depression. Rob was a journalist and a constant supporter of our community.

We will miss you, Rob.

  1. Depression is a tough adversary. May you know peace now in the light away from the dark corners of depression. If you suffer from depression, seek help and talk it out. Depression gains power over you if you remain silent and alone.

    Just a thought

  2. So sorry to hear this. I really do appreciate the way you worded this however – people need to know that a mental battle with depression is no less real than a physical battle with cancer, and losing a battle with depression is no more cowardice than losing a battle with cancer. Also good thoughts from MrPhotoEd – here’s hoping one day the stigma is non-existent, and those who are suffering are all ready to share.

  3. I have suffered from this for most of my adult life. I feel for Rob, as well as for the people who loved him & have now lost him.

    Rest in Peace, Rob!
