Nothing like hearing the vision directly from the top man at Google.

“… this frees up time for me to continue to scale our aspirations.”
This is such absolute corporate bullshit and lack of clarity.
There was no vision included in this, no facts either. Just hogwash and hyperbole. No wonder the stock is up. As Apple proves again and again: record numbers and growth are not what analysts are looking for.
This should be interesting.
Oh I don’t know, I mean it shows that he now has time to do something. Isn’t that clear? : D
Are they always scaled proportionately? Can they be rotated freehand? I NEED TO KNOW.
All you need to know is that things will be done related to the things you think need to be done and that Google and now Alphabet are making sure that any concerns related to scalability, especially concerning proportional scalability, are being seriously considered.
Ahem.
P.S. I like the caps. Nice touch.
Holy shit, James. I’m in awe. Do you write corporate press releases? 🙂
They’ve been setting this up for a while through the internal restructuring and the stock split. Analysts will like it so the stock jumped. I’m less cynical than others about this because it’s completely in line with where the founders, and Page especially, have focused their energies on for several years.
The picture in my head is pretty much deck chairs being re-arranged on the Titanic.
Just because they have created a new structure and reporting tree, maybe it will help, and maybe not.
The problem goes to the old saying, “A fish rots from the head back.” Are illegitimate, creepy, intrusions into people’s lives going to stop?
No.
Sounds like the pointy-haired boss on Diblert.
I use Chrome for one thing, and one thing only. A plug-in that isn’t available in Safari. Otherwise I shut it down since Chrome kills my Retia MacBook’s battery life by at least 25 percent. It seems like significantly more.
But are you actualizing your strategic analysis of internal actualization?
“Vision” is a very big word for the way Page expresses himself in public.
