Windows 10 launches

AppleInsider has a roundup of the early reviews. Good for Microsoft if they’re able to pull this off—the last couple of releases alienated many of their users.

  1. They, MS, lost me at …. I don’t know, maybe Windows 7? 8 is a mess and 9, sorry, no 9. 10 doesn’t excite me, at all.

I used to install beta’s, I actually wanted to see what was new. No more. Too much aggregation now. It’s beyond having to download the latest driver for some hardware component. Now, even if you have the right driver, the pc or VM just restarts or stops working.

    Microsoft just doesn’t get it.
I hear a death rattle. One I never thought I’d hear.
    Next. (No pun intended, really)

  2. It looks like an unbelievably cluttered mess. Upgraded, yes. But it’s still Windows whatever dress it wears.

  3. Right This Freaking Minute? Ok, sure whatever you say, Windoze Fanboy. Their dialog message is too vague. There is no link to take you to website explaining how to fix this.
