It was simply a matter of time before Apple Watch bands became a 3rd party commodity. I wasn’t expecting the price to drop so far, so quickly.

I have had this band for about 3 weeks and in that time have received many more compliments on the watch than I did wearing the sports band. Its very a very nice band esp given the price.
It looks ok, but as I expect a lot of companies to mistakenly do, the entire aesthetic is ultimately ruined by branding that should be invisible.

actually, its quite common for Rolex, Omega, Tissot, Tag, Patek etc to put their brand on the clasp.

Fair enough… but I’m not sure it quite carries the same prestige, but regardless for me it would be plenty enough reason to spend on Apple or another option even if more expensive.
I’ve had this exact band for just over a week, its great.
It is very a slightly different shade of gunmetal to the Space Gray Sport (which has a slightly bluish tone) but you hardly ever notice that in practice. Construction is good, and its satisfyingly heavy.
I bought the Hoco band as soon as it was available (a week or two after the watch came out) and it’s been great. While I might tweak the design slightly in terms of how it connects to the body of the watch, I have absolutely no regrets for not spending $450 on Apple’s version.
speak for yourself. I wouldn’t trade my leather band for that thing.
