As I continue on my weight loss journey with Apple Watch, one thing people kept telling me is to stay hydrated. I thought I was, but when a friend recommended I try “AddWater”, I saw how much more I needed to drink. This is now part of my daily logging. It’s really simple and tracks all of your drinks, not just water.
AddWater app for iPhone
The Pro version has Watch integration but neither supports HealthKit which is a bummer.
My AddHeineken app will support HealthKit.
Correct and that’s our number one priority. Prior to iOS9, HealthKit had no support for hydration (and some other data points we wanted from watch). That’s changed, so we’re shooting for full HealthKit support when iOS9 ships.
Already got ’em covered:

Well played AddWater, well played.
Hydration during exercise is good. Too much hydration is dangerous:

If you have normal kidney function and you’re thirsty, drink some water. If you’re not thirsty, don’t. There: I’ve saved you $1.99 and a whole lot of time poking at your phone.
Sweet! Let me know if you need Beta testers 😛
