Another anecdote from Becoming Steve Jobs. Read it. It’s short, but so good!

Considering the fact that this author doesn’t know the Pono’s timeline, or the fact that Neil Young and Steve Jobs actually did meet at Jobs’ home shortly before he died, I would consider this article to be incomplete at least, and suspect at most.
I don’t know why this is “so good”. It is another story, real or fictional, about Jobs’s arrogance, petulance and vindictiveness. How many of such stories do we need after a man has passed?
I’d be interested in reading about that final meeting. Do you have a source?
I remember seeing him say it. It could have been his interview with David Letterman in 2012, or it could have been at that Salesforce conference mid-October 2014 where he revealed the Pono player officially, and announced it’s imminent shipping.

Don’t know about this meeting. But Neil Young has claimed that he and Jobs were collaborating on a new iPod design before Jobs’s passing. http://www.theguardian.com/music/2012/feb/01/neil-young-ipod-steve-jobs
Vinyl (analogue) sounds awful. Neil Young is like your crazy uncle. And steve jobs passed away several years ago.
