U.S. District Judge William Alsup in San Francisco said the plaintiffs, Uriel Marcus and Benedict Verceles, failed to show that Apple made “affirmative misrepresentations,” despite citing online complaints and Apple marketing statements calling the laptops “state of the art” or the “most advanced” on the market.
People have to stop these bullshit lawsuits.
Half of the lawyers of the world are in the US.
There isn’t the slightest chance these lawsuits will stop!

We don’t allow our marketing department to use the phrase “state of the art” because it’s too ambiguous, and accrediting agencies give schools bad marks for using the term in class catalogs or marketing material.
Agree 100% the BS lawsuits have to stop, but I was bit by 2 of these questionable laptops personally.
It kind of blows that I had to shell out extra cash on top of what I already paid for “state of the art” hardware just to have it fixed 18 months down the road.
Just sayin’…
