Yosemite Conference

With seventeen of the most amazing people in the Apple community—some developers, but most not—Yosemite is a conference for the Apple community. Our speakers are some of the best and most-loved writers, designers, philosophers, and developers working in the Apple ecosystem.

I’ll be speaking at CocoaConf’s Yosemite Conference this year. I’m really excited about the line-up of speakers and meeting the attendees. I hope to see you there!

  1. My wife and I stay in the Yosemite Lodge the second weekend of March every year for a veterinary conference. I highly suggest getting up a little early and walking to the bottom of Lower Yosemite Fall. It only takes a few minutes from the Lodge. There have been multiple times when I was the only person there for a good five or ten minutes at 8:00 am. Granted, it’ll probably be a little more crowded in late April, but you’ll still have some measure of solitude. Quite a different experience from going there on a July afternoon.

Another tip: if you’re going to eat at the Mountain Room get your name on the list around 6:30 or 7:00. They’ll give you a buzzer and you can go back to your room and have a cocktail while you’re waiting an hour or so to be seated. (You do bring your own cocktail makings, right?)
