Today, Apple released an update to iCloud which gives Windows users early access to iCloud Drive. Ironically, Apple’s new cloud storage solution is not yet available on the public build of Mac OS X.
GODDAMNIT!
iCloud update gives PC users access to iCloud Drive before Macs
I’m holding off until my Mac can use iCould Drive. Amazingly Dropbox hasn’t stepped up with better iOS 8 integration. However I suspect getting it to work well is trickier than it looks.
For me, 1Password has been the big iOS 8 winner so far. Competing directly with an Apple feature and doing it better.
I know it only counts in part, but you can use it on icloud.com.
I have posted the iCloud-iWork accessibility matrix here for those who want to see the current silly state of affairs: http://www.pixel-stained-wretch.com/wordpress/2014/09/20/new-from--iwork-cross-platform-incompatibility/
LOL, thanks for the love, Jim! #longlivethebeard
