I searched for all 71 of the stickers in Apple’s new ad so you don’t have to

TUAW:

Apple just ran a TV ad showing just how amazing your MacBook can look with a little bit of vinyl applied.

If you saw something you liked on that fast-moving ad, you’re in luck because I did the legwork of searching for every funky sticker that made an appearance. Well, ok, not every sticker — I ignored the section of the ad with the generic music stickers — but every sticker you probably care about. All 71 of them.

I’m glad somebody did this. How about you? Do you put stickers or the like on your laptops?

  1. I had no idea servers and waiters in Seattle made the same minimum wage as everyone else, which will be $15 in a few years. No more tips for them. Why did I goto college again?

  2. The thing about the stickers ad is that it’s not about stickers. The stickers simply represent Apple users and tells how diverse the group is. So the ad makes its point about users without showing people. I like it a lot.

  3. FUCK NO!! Everytime I see people with Apple hardware and there’re stickers all over it, I cringe. This is a high-performance piece of electronics, NOT A TOY. That said, I have a rainbow Apple logo sticker over the snow Apple logo on the back of my iPad Air.
    Color me hypocritical ….

  4. No, but have seen some really creative ones, including one of the witch having handed the apple to SW.

  5. I didn’t put stickers on my mid-2009 MBP for many years. But now that it is of a certain age, it has a Stack Overflow sticker and a Yosemite National Park sticker (which long pre-dated OS X Yosemite and probably even Mavericks).

  6. I’d never thought of it before 2013, when a coworker brought in a lovely sticker. Now I’m looking for just the right one. I’ll wait as long as I have to.
