Factually:
Amazingly, there are still some people who don’t think we landed on the moon. These people are complete idiots, to put it kindly. Back in 2002, Buzz Aldrin punched one of those idiots after being followed and harassed at a hotel in Beverly Hills.
I post this in honour of yesterday’s 45th anniversary of the launch of Apollo 11. And because Buzz Aldrin is a bad ass.
Ever since then I’ve wished he’ll be invited to Buzz’s funeral (which is still far away, I hope) so that every guest could be invited to reenact that wonderful scene in tribute.
Though in seriousness, I dislike the title of the article– it makes it seem as if Buzz punched him in the face just because he called it a hoax. The guy had set up an elaborate scheme to corner and verbally harass him, and being called a liar and coward was the last straw. He was so obviously provoked that there was no case against him, and rightly so. Something seriously wrong with a dude trying to accost a 72 year-old man who’s nothing short of a national hero.
Some people just deserve to be punched in the face. Way to treat a national hero.
There are so many other people in the world who need a good face punch, it’s a pity to stop at one.
i’m really disappointed that no one offered to hold Buzz’s coat so that he could beat the shit out of that idiot.

Honestly, the top image is gold– the guy is gesturing like some jagoff, and Buzz is standing with his chest out and a young lady holding him back.

If only there was a way to guarantee Sibrel would get punched every time someone in the world watched that video.
