Everyone knows by now that Amazon is evil – except Amazon itself, it seems. That’s why I took the fight directly to amazon.co.uk, creating a fake book for sale called Living Wages for Amazon Workers.
Interesting way to get the word out.

Amazon has a horrible reputation here in Seattle. I have never heard of anyone who has liked working there.
It’s good to note that their wages in the UK may be low, I don’t know, but in the US, where I live, 11/hr for an Integrity temp and 14/hr and up for a permanent employee is pretty good. Apartments here being $400 or so for a one bedroom.
Seasonal work at Amazon warehouses seems to be popular with people who live in the RVs/Campers (can’t remember the term they use) and migrate throughout the year. But I’ve read of horror stories about that work.
It’s crazy how many folks who wouldn’t be caught dead in a walmart because of their labor and business practices spend so much money with amazon, who is just as bad as walmart when it comes to labor and business practices.
thats because RVers arent living a normal life which requires a living wage. instead theyre transient workers roaming the wastelands…
So now if a company doesn’t make every single job, no matter how unskilled or temporary, a “living wage,” as lefties demand, they are evil? Does The Loop pay every contributor $50K/yr?
All you libs are going to do is kill part time and seasonal work for HS & college students. They will be replaced by robots, as Amazon is already doing.
Not every job is a career that you should raise a family on, dumbkopfs!
We’ll I’m not one of those dopey libs. Walmart has been great for the millions of poor people that Obama has added to the poverty rolls, as they can’t afford to shop at expensive union labor grocery stores.
