Apple updated iWork for iCloud on Tuesday that adds a number of new features including:
- Export documents to ePub in Pages for iCloud
- Export spreadsheets to CSV in Numbers for iCloud
- Show and hide slide numbers in Keynote for iCloud
New features available across all apps include:
- Collaborate with up to 100 people in a document at the same time
- Nearly 200 new fonts
- More color options in the format panel
- Create and format 2D and interactive charts
I love you and Gruber etc. But Apple can tout all these nice new features – but when the web versions are slow slow slow – seems you give a pass. I guess the point is – I understand that Apple assumes users will be using ios or OSX – but then why have a web version? Much like the POS that itunes has turned into – these are not best in class services.
Here’s hoping you can add alternate text for images to that the epub files can be Section 508-compliant.
huh? i use the web versions frequently from my day job windows machine. what browser are you using? i find Chrome to be more responsive than Firefox, and have had no trouble using them. more, i feel iWork is a richer UX than Google Docs, and thus best-in-class.
