Chris Hadfield’s famous ‘Space Oddity’ video to be taken down

I highly recommend his book, “An astronaut’s guide to life on earth.”
I’m American and I’m extremely proud of Commander Hadfield. I think the world is proud of what he did to get people excited about the space program.
Thanks for sharing the link for the video. I was not aware of the video and glad I got to see it before it was removed.
Thank you Click to Plugin for allowing me an easy way to download the video to keep. May such an excellent piece of work live on in copies surreptitiously squirreled away in hard drives and USB sticks around the world.
And so many of us here in Ireland, too. I think his daughter was/is studying in Dublin. He was a very big hit here during and after his ISS trip. He performed his version of ‘Space Oddity’ live on Irish national TV a few months ago. He also was a guest at this year’s Young Scientists Exhibition. A great guy!
It is a drag that the publisher of the song wouldn’t just take a cut of the money and a link to the original version, or whatever deal needed to be worked out. This is the best commercial the original song could have.
