I’m going to try to only respond to email at a set time during each day. I’m going to put an hour (or perhaps two) in my calendar for this at the end of the day. And in that hour (or two), I’m not going to do anything besides email.
It’ll be interesting to see how this experiment goes.
M.G. — make a statement. Stop using email. Have a vacation-responder set-up that says “I do not use email. I consider it one of the great time-wasters of our generation. Please send me a tweet with your message, or use some other creative means to reach me.” That’s what I would do if I were a gangsta like you.
