Well, to give that book author the benefit of the doubt, it is possible that acknowledging anything about the book being true could give it a veil of respectability, which is what they do not want to do. So I mean he could be reluctant to acknowledge anything about the book. But based on reviews by other people, the book is still highly questionable.

2. The question is: is the entire story bullshit, or just the pen-tossing part?

4. This book is just bad. You find plenty of anecdotes that go unsourced, like that pen story.

5. I don’t think so. If you read the paragraph in the book from the picture on 9to5 Mac, you’ll see Eddy Cue supposedly “told everyone” and eventually earned Job’s respect. So, from my perspective, there would be nothing to deter Eddy Cue from telling the truth. After all the supposed story ends with him gaining Job’s respect, right?

6. No, the story is false. He didn’t throw a pen, but a pencil. Not at his head, but at the desk. It wasn’t Eddie Cue, it was Edmonton Currie. And that scene didn’t earn him Jobs’ respect, he was fired.

7. Well, a pen or a pencil isn’t really an important distinction but the plot twist difference is. Since it was somewhat close in that a similar incident happened I can only assume that the author got the story a few times removed from an original source. Though I wonder what kind of opinion would get you fired immediately.

8. Yep. I bet if someone asked about more of those tales they would find they are basically all false.

   This book is a joke. I had jumped to get in the library Ebook wait list and I didn’t even bother finishing it. The writing etc is just bad
