A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon you’re talking real payola.
So blatantly obvious on some of these web sites. ZDNet has nothing but negative Apple articles and positive Samsung ones.
It is sad that The Verge seems to play part in this. Despite high reviews for the iPhone 5s the subtitle for the Verge’s review was:
“Is Apple’s best iPhone ever really a better phone?”
The article follows to claim yes, but contains statements such as “Today, the 5S is but a minor improvement over the 5, with only the camera and perhaps Touch ID truly counting as purchase-worthy upgrades.”
Compare this to yesterday’s headline for their Samsung Galaxy S5 preview:
“Samsung’s Galaxy S5 is here with more power, more pixels, and a refined design
This year’s flagship doesn’t mess with a winning formula”
Forgive me for thinking the Galaxy S5 looks like a larger S4, which looks like a larger S3. It has a stale and quite displeasing design that is an eyesore compared to it’s rival iPhone, and certainly not refined. Yet the Verge headline reads like a line straight out of the Samsung rep’s mouth.
That’s not a thorough review; that’s a hands-on review. The phone won’t be out until April.
Samsung lines the pockets of all of these idiot bloggers. I don’t care what their ‘code of conduct’ says, it happens, otherwise how could people appear to be so stupid and ignorant?
