Zero interest now in using WhatsApp with Facebook selling your conversations to advertisers. Same reason I dumped Instagram when Facebook bought them.
What do you mean? WhatsApp already had your phone number and everything you talked about stored on their servers and associated with your account. Why do you think Facebook paid so much? It had nothing to do with user numbers or their phone numbers. It’s about the ton of information WhatsApp already has about you.

agreed – an advertising company w/ an awful privacy track record buying the service makes the service less valuable to me.
