The ability to project a large holographic image has been around for a while now, but this is the first time I’ve ever heard it being used by a high ranking politician or head of state. Pretty cool.

My thought as well. Looks like a simple projection screen (visible near the end).
With the press he received lately, I assume his life insurance is paying for the technology.
Anyhow, this technology might pave the way for a Pink Floyd or Talking Heads reunion… they could share one stage without meeting each other. Interesting.
