This could be very, very good. Love Matthew McConaughey’s voiceover:
“Perhaps we’ve just forgotten that we are still pioneers, that we’ve barely begun, and that our greatest accomplishments cannot be behind us, that our destiny lies above us.”
Thrilling.
I am very excited about this. Nolan tackling Arthur C. Clarke territory? yes, please.
Regardless of the quality of the final version of the film—for which I have extremely high hopes—this trailer is damn near perfect.
It was very exciting to hear Chris Nolan would take over this Spielberg project. He’s my new favorite director and has come a long way from Momento, a film I thoroughly hated. Hopefully, he will have full creative control over this film.
Okay, I’m interested.
Nobody makes trailers as great as Christopher Nolan. Too bad the movies are mediocre.
“We’re gonna need footage of rockets, and someone driving through a corn field.” – Everyone who ever made a sci-fi trailer
I haven’t seen much of his more-recent work. There’s “mediocre” and there’s “excessively ambitious.”
Please. Nolan’s body of work is anything but “mediocre”.
