I’m familiar with Apple’s plans. Design innovative (sometimes) products). Sell them at a profit. Make users happy enough to repeat the process. Pay no mind to pundits.
The only thing worse, and it’s barely a lesser evils, is when they CYA but trumping up ‘issues’.
