Quite a few funny ones in there, but #14 made me LOL.
Edit: Okay, and #19 too.
Have you seen the mock reviews on Amazon..? I think this is in the same vein. They’re not serious complains – it’s British satire.
yeah they must be mock reviews. Who doesn’t like curry?
My wife and I once took a package trip to a resort in Spain (it was the cheapest way to get there). The resort and hotel was mostly English – we’re not but we’re native English speakers.
Examples of behavior: The English receptionist told us “you don’t want to do that, they’re full of locals” when we asked about taking a local bus to the weekly market at a nearby non-resort fishing village. She meant the bus, market and village.
At the one entertainment night we attended at the hotel, hotel guests booed and threw stuff at a Spanish singer.
Overheard in the town: “I could murder a good English curry”
Who doesn’t like making babies? 🙂
That last one had me laughing out loud.
These are a joke. Why would Thomas Cook even release this information?
I went to Quebec and I thought the maple syrup on the poutine was horrible. And, everyone spoke ancient French instead of modern French. Next time, I will go to St Pierre and Miquelon.
The cure:
I quit after about half a dozen of them: my brain huurrrt.
