  1. in the middle of the story, the
author breaks into Android is winning.

It almost made me stop reading.
What kind of bullshit do you have to be under
when taking about 2007 and slip in 2010.

    goddamn Wired writer.

  2. It’s just data, and relevant I guess. He’s made it clear that iPhone created this brand-new paradigm…but Apple doesn’t lead the pack any more (yes, we can talk about comparing specs or not…user experience…market share vs. profit share and all that…you can make a very compelling case that Apple is “winning” or Android is “winning”, but that there is a debate at all is the important point). It’s part of the story.

My favorite line in the story is that Jobs showed the audience all the problems with modern smartphones, and then he fixed them all.

  3. What is truely amazing is that we still have an iPhone 1 (2G) and it is still responsive and has reasonable battery life. Not bad for the first ever phone a company made.
