same thing happened to a friend of mine. his son wouldn’t go to him for a week. you laugh, but it was kind of bad. he won’t be growing it back until the kid is a little older (he’s about 2-3 now)

Tried that with my daughter. It didn’t help and my beard is no where near Jim’s. I keep it trimmed close but it was still a big difference to her. The funny thing is that what prompted me to shave is that my wife showed her a picture of us where I didn’t have the beard and she didn’t know it was me in the picture 🙂
My kids see pictures of me with hair and think it’s really weird. None of them remember a time I wasn’t bald.
If Jim saved his beard: You would see his double chin. 🙂
