I’d like to thank Appsfire sponsoring The Loop’s RSS feed this week. Appsfire is a delightful and elegant mobile guide to the best apps. If you believe the App store is not doing enough to help you find the apps that are right for you, try Appsfire. It features an incredibly fast and accurate app search, curated lists of apps and deals, it shows you the apps your friends like and more. In addition, they also help developers grow which is very important. Download Appsfire in the App store or get it here.
Appsfire
Just like last week. Appsfire is still a scam, that does NOT help developers grow. IT is a company that exacerbates the “top downloads” problem by selling SPAM to developers to try and get their apps high on the lists.
It’s a shame you’re not more selective with your sponsor,s but it’s not surprising that, despite being informed of their scammy nature, you’re running the same ad this week ,word for word.
Frankly, this just shows the whole “inner circle mac douchebags” for what you are– you don’t care about being honest, and you have no integrity, so you don’t care to protect it by being selective about whose money you take.
Shame on you. Again.
Just like last week. you keep barking.
Funny, an anonymous troll like you has something to say about “integrity”
Speaking of anonymous trollls– Ouriel doesn’t admit here that he is, in fact, one of the founders of Appsfire and one of the scammers in questions.
He also doesn’t refute my points, which are all true.
Of course, you can’t argue with the facts, so you call me names.
I think it’s hilarious that you disparage my integirty when you’re here’ lying….
but then, that’s how you make your money, isn’t it?
Here’s the message I received from Ouriel, back in the day:
“ee can push your app to hundreds of thousands of users on a pay per install basis. cost would be 1 dollar per install with a discount with volume. If you decide to make your app free for a day we ll charge you a fee of either 2500 USD or 0.5 per install (whatever the greatest). From our experience we can get you to the top of your category in no time, even better if you are able to discount the price of your app”
Yes, he is that incoherent. One of the reasons I decided not to communicate with him further…. not only was it an obvious scam, but it seemed to be run by mafia types given the poor english.
From your website, you do look guilty. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt, though: I’d suggest going through it carefully and being more clear about what exactly you do for developers, what you charge, and how you approach them (assuming you do at all).
steven, i suggest you contact us. once you know how we work and what we do and how we do it, you ll have no doubt…
I see the censorship is out. Someone points out that AppsFire is a scam, and so they get blocked from posting here and the message deleted… Talk about Integrity, Ouriel! LOL
I posted an email in the other thread he sent me, offering to push us into the top of the download charts for $5,000 by using push notifications to get his customers to download the app.
It’s the standard scam.
He’s got so much “integrity” that he had me banned from responding on this blog when I posted that email as a comment here. Think about that!
…. no doubt you’re a scam. An you can’t take criticism, so you get people banned for pointing out you’re offering to push people in the top of the charts by spamming your customers… for a price.
