“We went down to Tulalip.”
“How long were you gone?”
“About six hours.”
“How much are you bringing back?”
“Ninety five dollars.”
“Any alcohol?”
“No.”
“See any zombies?”
“What? No! Hell no!”
“Scratched by any zombies?”
“N-uunnngh.”
“Bit by any?”
“BRAAINS.”
“Step out of the car, sir.”

My thought exactly. They did that with a straight face. It was awesome.
To be fair, the way Question Period works is the Minister would have been given the question ahead of time to prepare an answer.
But it’s still a funny bit. 🙂
This kind of question wouldn’t need to be given in advance as it didn’t need technical or a lengthy response. A question on the “order paper” also needs a 48 hour lead time.
That’s not to say that it wasn’t a question on the “order paper” but it wouldn’t be required of them.
