Pixelmator is a great image editing app and all that I use on my Mac.

Pixelmator is very good, but Photoshop does more.
And costs much more. We’ve needed a mid-range app like this for a long time.
I love pixelmator. The interface is very different from other tools like paint.NET but the tutorials are really well done; and once you get used to it just does the job.
