Fender Select Series 2013
I got one about 4 months ago, and it is very nice. It has lots of modern updates (flat & wide neck, rounded neck joint, locking tuners) all without it losing its ‘Stratness’.
I have the Select Strat with the maple fretboard and S/S/S configuration on my list for after tax refunds (normally March where I am). Will replace my 2004 American Deluxe Strat which developed a terrible intonation tolerance on the three higher strings (and yes, it has been to service 3 times already). Playing all my (normally) Strat parts on a PRS 513 right now… does not sound right, but at least I am in tune.
Could anybody figure out the difference to the 2012 series? I can’t, and the 2012 model can be found for substantially less here.
I wish I could play guitar.
