Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong smashed his guitar on stage because he was angry that his set was cut short for Usher and Justin Bieber. He is now “seeking treatment for substance abuse.”

Maybe the reason didn’t exist after all. The statement at Green Day’s web site says their set wasn’t cut short. I feel sorry for the guy, though. It’s gotta be hard to live that life without falling into substance abuse.

Classless, spoiled jerk. You know, I hate to come across as someone who has turned into their father, but I really don’t see the need to drop that many F-bombs into 30-seconds of dialog in a public forum.
Green Day is the Justin Bieber of punk and I think he just realized it, thus necessitating his need for rehab.
