Agreed but the line “I’ve used the Kindle Fire for a year now. It’s fine. The Android-based OS isn’t particularly horrible” is certainly damning with faint praise.
More grading on a curve. “It’s close enough for government work.”
Like any pre-release product, it’s hard to judge what the software is going to be like. Too many people do it with iOS.
