I find the sheer number of devices in question over such a short period of time quite crazy.

In the sense of Samsung’s collection of devices not what Apple is asking for.
It seems to be the way most manufacturers think. If you throw enough crap at the wall, sooner or later something might stick.
They have verrry solid devices (some, not all) just too many options, IMHO.
Granted, it works. They are the top manufacturer worldwide because they offer smartphones and budget phones.
The real story is that Apple want to apply the ban to ALL Samsung phones that infringe, including ones that have been released since the court case was started.
Definitely not all devices. My Samsung Insight phone, bought when it was considered midrange, is crap. It’s totally colored my perception of Samsung and Android, even though I have used a Nexus and know some other phones are okay. My next phone will not be Samsung and probably not Android. I’d rather try a Windows 8 phone or get an iPhone next.
Yeah, that’s common. The low to mid level phones give bad perceptions to folks.
