Jim, use an S3 for a while. Samsung innovation is clear in many areas. They can do better in areas but they did a good job in the S3.
Sure, but they only has the money in the bank to fund those improvements by selling willfully infringed copies of Apes iPhone and other products.
The new Samsung phones don’t look the same now so why did they do it in the first place.
This verdict will lead to more innovation. I didn’t believe that before, but now that a legal precedent has been sent, other companies must work harder and that will lead to more innovation.
It’s now up to apple to do the same.

Android has been and is “bad for innovation”. I hope Apple can follow through and kill off Android once and for all so that real alternatives can emerge. It’s Perhaps too late for PalmOS which lets not forget WAS DESTROYED BY ANDROID but maybe widows phone will become the alternative to iOS. To all those who say innovation will be harmed by this finding should consider whether there would have been a more interesting selection of choices if we had iOS, palm OS and Windows phones to choose from.
Samsung is full of shit because the Samsung Galaxy S3 make their own statement invalid, because it’s a proof that it’s possible to make “rectangles with rounded corners” without looking the iPhone.
They whined about “rectangles with rounded corners” because basic people fall on that.. thinking that “Apple is so evil that they have patents on rectangles and round corners”

Let’s start with a seemingly irrelevant intro:
People who like to go the movie theatres do this mainly because the screen is bigger than at home, it can create the larger than life effect. Ironically the biggest screen is the smallest one. When you look at google goggles it immediately makes one think about the coming future with the biggest screen possible that goes over the whole eyesight. It just needs to be a retina display of a much higher kind. And we wouldn’t be surprised if Apple is going to “invent” this biggest movie theatre with one more and one more thing.
When people invented the radio and the walkman, the invention of the walkman with radio isn’t really an invention just like combining existing things is one of the oldest ideas. But it was a wow combination. The iPhone was such a wow combination that people didn’t notice how much of a combination of existing things that was. In that context making a same device smaller is also not a new wow idea. Remember the first generation cellphones, bigger than the one from Michael Douglas introducing himself in the Wall Street sequel.
Let’s make an existing thing called a cellphone and let’s use the old existing ideas of combining and making smaller to add an existing thing called a computer to it and let’s add an existing thing called multitouch to it to operate the whole thing. We can still add a physical keyboard but it’s not necessary (they did not add one after the rumours of a new iPhone with p keyboard because it was still obvious that it wasn’t necessary). Let’s also use the existing idea of cellphone applications with filesytem restricted to the application and lay them out with the existing idea of icons in a main menu. Let’s also give it the existing idea of a flatscreen look so that it looks like a flatscreen combined with that old existing make it smaller idea.
Or how the iPhone for most part was already in the heads of many people who just or only used the old existing combine and make smaller ideas.
So what is the Apple Goggles going to be? For starters it is going to be a google goggles with smaller made pixels (old existing make it smaller idea) to have the world’s biggest movie theatre with the speakers on the arms of the goggles and let’s also put an iPhone in it once again using the old make it smaller idea. It won’t be a touchscreen device unless you wan’t to use an additional device like that that works wirelessely. Than everybody will look at the possibilities of using the existing idea of image recognition so that the new and smaller cameras that can do what their bigger brothers can (same old make it smaller existing idea) track the focus point of your eyes in cursor mode. What do the eyes have to do then to for example click a link? Use one of the four combinations that comes with eye open/shut or does the eye have to draw something specific on it and so on…
Or how fun it is to always predict where Apple is going before they are there. Maybe they are going to include the existing idea of the whole web on a usb stick where bits get written on dna of synthetic cells that can last for centuries. Sounds like another great Apple combination to me.

Like when the threedimensional space we live in will always exist until the year plus infinity (all the existing mass in it can ofcourse always be moving in it forever).
