The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California claims Zynga’s recently released Facebook game “The Ville” willfully and intentionally “copied and misappropriated the original and distinctive expressive elements of the Sims Social.
Sounds like Samsung designers are working for Zynga.
Virtually all of Zynga’s games are clones of other successful games. It’s just they usually rip off smaller companies with little resources like the three man NimbleBit (Tiny Tower -> Dream Heights). They stole from a giant this time and will, hopefully, pay dearly for it.
Zynga is in a race to the bottom! I don’t like EA much better, they have ruined gaming but at least with EA they are original most of the time.
