Apple on Monday said OS X Mountain Lion topped 3 million downloads in just four days, making it the most successful operating system release in the company’s history. Mountain Lion is only available through the Mac App Store and costs $19.99.

Yeah, I got it on the first day, which was a first for me. I’ve encountered a couple of minor bugs so far but nothing work-stopping. I upgraded from Snow Leopard so there are some very noticeable differences, but I guess having a year of reading about people’s gripes with Lion prepared me for the worst because I’m pretty pleased with what I’m seeing.
