Samsung was forced to release a bunch of documents it had been keeping under seal that show the likeness between its products and Apple’s. Examples outlined in the documents include comments from Samsung workers discussing similarities with Apple’s products, and reports Samsung got from retailer Best Buy that Samsung tablets were being returned because customers thought they were getting iPads.

I know that I didn’t think much of the claims of similarity until I walked into a Best Buy one day, went up to a tablet display next to the Apple section, picked up what I thought was an iPad, and then found myself entirely confused when the screen that came up was clearly not iOS. It was at that point then that I realized it was a Galaxy Tab 10.1. Everything about it, from the typography in the display to its location in the store to its overall appearance led me to believe it was an iPad. It wasn’t until I turned it on that I started noticing all of the differences.
Clearly the iPhone 4 is a Sony product, whoddathunkit?
Yes, just like the Audio Recorder App in iOS is actually made by Braun here in Germany, out of Wood and Metal, then scanned in by the laser from “Tron” and sent on a 3.5″ Floppy to Cupertino.
