Google Fiber is 100 times faster than today’s average broadband. No more buffering. No more loading. No more waiting. Gigabit speeds will get rid of these pesky, archaic problems and open up new opportunities for the web. Imagine: instantaneous sharing; truly global education; medical appointments with 3D imaging; even new industries that we haven’t even dreamed of, powered by a gig.
Google Fiber
I’m not a very big Google fan these days, but this fiber stuff is awesome. Particularly the Fiber TV announcements going on. What sounds like a very complete TV package for $120 a month with the world’s most advanced DVR capable of 8 simultaneous recordings… well that’s a lot better than I’m getting from Comcast I can tell you that for sure.
If it was available in my area, I’d switch in a heartbeat.
Indeed. It shows how abusive current telecos are that people who dislike Google would jump for a service like this.
Complete if you consider all Time Warner and Disney channels not to be important. Because they aren’t part of that deal.
Their “free” option is interesting. What limits or addenda come along with the connection? And who’s handling local customer service?
