Clearly they are trying to outdo any announcements Apple might have at WWDC. Good luck with that.
It should be interesting but they absolutely have a leg up in maps as the de facto standard for mapping.
We’ll see how things go next week. 🙂

This reminds me of the tablet game a couple of years ago. Everyone hears rumors that Apple is about to release their tablet any day so they all jump to hit CES etc and announce theirs for release ‘later this year’ and then Apple does their announce and even with the 60/90 day delay for FCC etc approval they beat everyone else to market by a good six months (cause they were basically there before they said anything) and by the time ‘later’ rolled around those other boys were standing there with ‘thumbs up their butts’ as Michael Bolton would say (not the singer the other one) watching apple take 99% of the market.
Google will be able to say they said it first but will they be able to say they did it first, and more importantly best
