As the fifth month of the year continues to progress the time is nearing for Apple to release a flurry of new Macs. Unlike the days of IBM’s PowerPC CPU architecture it’s now relatively easy to pinpoint when and what Macs are going to get refreshed at what point during the year and that is all down to Apple’s use of Intel’s architecture.

Very good article. Comprehensive and well written. I did find one error. The current Sandy Bridge iMacs do not have Bluetooth 4.0. They still have Bluetooth 2.1.
The only BT 4.0 devices Apple has right now is the current Mac mini, Macbook Air, iPhone 4S and now new iPad. We need the Macbook Pro, Mac Pro and iMac lineup to move to BT 4.0 and hopefully we’ll see updated input accessories supporting the new standard which should increase battery life by many months and offer pairing that is order of magnitudes faster.
I believe the 1080p Apple TV added bluetooth 4.0 as well. hoping for some game controllers.

Dude, really? There is a picture of MacBook *Air*s, not Pros, and it’s above the “notebook” section, not under the Mac Pro section. Don’t commenters read for comprehension before they hit post?
