Apple began providing “advanced looks” as part of the roll-out to the launch of FCP X and wanted to continue letting us know what’s coming. (I think this is a great idea, because it helps us plan.)
Here are the bullet points (none of this was demoed):
– Multichannel Audio Editing Tools
– Dual Viewers
– MXF Plug-in Support
– RED camera support
This is great news for prosumers.
This is great news for everyone using the software. Including me, who’s not definitely not “prosumer”…
Shame they aren’t doing this for Aperture – just like three years ago (before the release of Aperture 3) people are leaving the app for a new version of Lightroom as they don’t know if Aperture is still being actively developed or not.
Once you drop the ball it never seems to bounce the same again. Maybe too little too late?
