Screens 2.0 VNC client for Mac, iPhone, iPad

I’ve been playing around with Screens 2.0 all day and I love it. The app allows you to connect your Mac or iOS device to another computer on the network, see its screen and interact with the computer. I tried it on my Mac and iPhone, but haven’t gotten around to the iPad yet, but I haven’t had a single problem. It took a couple of tries to nail the position of my finger when using the iPhone version, but that’s a minor user thing.

  1. Been using it for some time now and find it perfect. This recent v.2.0 update does away with annoyances i had (making the Dock appear, disconnecting, and swipe) Kudos to local Canadian boys for the app 🙂

  2. THis was my big question to. When coming into a fairly mature market, how does a newcomer stack up against the existing, *FREE* alternatives. I can’t even find a reason to want to try this app.

  3. Consider other options. Teamview is very reliable and free. Pocketcloud does a good job for 1/2 the price. Screens is over priced and their support is poor. I was told by their support that there was nothing they could do and they recommended I get a refund from Apple. When I posted a critical review on the itune page, I started to receive harassing emails from one of the company’s reps. As I said to them, if the product is that good, then it should be able to tolerate criticism
