Yep, and Léo got fired for trying to get HP out of it.
My employer bought an HP server, because our IT department demanded we not get Promise gear (stuff made by former Apple engineers) and in the seven months the server has been in service, it has been trouble-free exactly ZERO days. That’s right. It has never worked right.
We replaced the fiber channel card connection the server to the RAID, we have updated the OS, we have had Apple and ProMax engineers look at it, and even now they’re updating firmware and talking to HP about what the problem could be.
And that’s after two months of them claiming it’s a bug in Apple hardware when using an attached Firewire drive to copy files over a Windows network to an NTFS volume.
Yeah, HP deserves to go out of business if this is what they sell these days. I remember when at least HP enterprise stuff was considered pretty good.

Another issue is way too many printer models are for sale. They should take a page from the Steve playbook and limit the variety of printers. Just went to HP’s site and saw that there was at least 15 different types of Laserjet printers. Waaaaay to much. It’s like Apple in the late 80’s and 90’s. Focus people, focus.
