“In light of recent events, I have decided to postpone Tuesday’s vote on the PROTECT I.P. Act.
Reid says he’s “optimistic that we can reach a compromise in the coming weeks,” but has taken PIPA off the table for now until that compromise can be reached.

In other words, Reid is postponing it until there isn’t so much attention to it and they can pass it without people paying attention – based solely in the lack of any compromise unless it involves capitulating on things
