Two years ago, they all agreed that RIM would be the dominant smartphone company for the next five years thanks to their corporate strengths, push e-mail service and bullet-proof security. Those analysts boosted RIM’s share price to the moon and pretty much disdainfully regarded Apple’s iPhone as a toy. It appears as the analysts were wrong. They just love to bet against Apple and their “toy” iDevices.

If you had found eleven things they did right, Balisille and Lazaridis probably would’ve come to your house with a printed version of this article, given you a kiss on the cheek* and then merrily jumped away to hand this list to RIM’s controlling.
