Research In Motion, still smarting over having to change the name of its yet-to-come operating system, faces a similar trademark challenge to its popular instant-messaging service BlackBerry Messenger.
Because things are going so well for RIM, they just needed someone else to jump in the ring and clobber the shit out of them in court.
They could just change it to BBW…

RIM is on the way down the ‘TECH TOILET!’ No doubt about it, and it is such a shame. They once ruled the TECH UNIVERSE and now they are nobodys … has beens … used to be’s … yesterday’s news. WOW! What a tragedy! They will soon be totally bankrupt and nonexistent unless they resurrect their company with a total redo, new SMART PHONES to compete with iPhone and Android, etc. And just think, not that long ago my first Smart Phone was a B.B. Curve 8320 and I LOVED IT! I slept with it, and made love to it. I kissed it daily. I could not live without it. But then, I met a new lady… I met an iPhone 3Gs and she was beautiful! She did things to me and for me BB would never do or think about doing. I was hooked and I divorced my BB Curve and went to mu iPhone girl and NEVER went back. Since then I have spent $1,000’s on the iPhone 4, 4s, and much more. Just think RIM, you could still be my Tech Phone of choice but you did not keep up or change when you had a good chance to do so.
Yes, RIM and their BB phones will be a chapter in Business and Economic text books some day, and students will be reading what “NOT to do” in a TECH COMPANY if you want to grow and or survive. People in school will study RIM from the top to the bottom to learn what NOT to do to live on! It is so sad … how did RIM fall so far so fast? WOW! What a TECH tragedy.
