Be sure and read the comments.
That’s a little unfair considering it’s a third party app but you have to wonder what kind of devs RIM is getting.
Worse than the UI, the developing company, Standalone Mobile Solutions, “borrowed” their name from a good development house that has been around at least 12 year, Stand Alone Inc.
Amateur Hour is OVER!
Bizarro Hour? That’s just getting started…
The comments are amusing to be sure. What’s not amusing is the fact that RIM allowed this into their app store in the first place. U.G.L.Y.
If you’re trying to get customers to appreciate their devices, this is not the way to do it.
Wow, that UI is really… Well, let’s just say that it looks really good. In the same way that Windows 95 looked really good. In 1994.
I sort of thought it was a joke. The reviewer seemed so excited about the application, that I mistook it for satire. I was waiting for an Onion-esque punchline at the end of the review.
Windows 95 is giving it too much credit. Windows 3 maybe, or perhaps the UI for my old TV remote…

1990 called, they want their user interface back.
(And this joke format as well.)
