Dana Wollman comparing the Motoactv to the iPod nano at Engadget:
With its square shape, 1.6-inch touchscreen and raft of fitness features, it’s impossible not to draw that parallel as soon as you even read about the thing. Without the clothing clip attached, they’re similarly, sized, too
Oh come on, seriously? I think John Gruber summed it up perfectly.
I’m not sure if they’re ripping off Apple’s iPod Nano, or Samsung’s business model of ripping off Apple designs.
I guess they haven’t seen that chart showing iPod sales in a steady decline. People are buying smart phones and using those as music players these days.
Is Motorola now in a contest with Samsung to see who can be sued into oblivion first?
Waiting for the court meeting in which the judge holds-up both devices in the same colour and ask Motorola’s lawyer to distinguish them.
Boy that was comedy gold.
That is like comparing a Fiero to a Ferrari. Two entirely different devices. One has GPS one doesn’t. One has bluetooth, one doesn’t. The Motoactv has features the nano never will.
