Apple on Monday released iOS 4.3.5. You can download the new update by connecting tethering your iPhone to your Mac, opening iTunes and clicking the Update button.
iOS 4.3.5 offers a security fix associated with certificate validation, according to Apple. The update is compatible with the iPhone 4 (GSM model), iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPad, and third- and fourth-generation iPod touch.
An update with the same change for iPhone 4s on Verizon’s network (4.2.10) is also available.

Are you kidding me? I just got updated to 4.3.4, which came out last week, IIRC.
So, what? You’re complaining about Apple rapidly responding to and deploying a security fix?
So, you’re complaining that they put out a security update too quickly? I guess you really can’t please everyone.
What is ridiculous is you need to the download the entire OS again to patch something as trivial as this. It’s 1GB of data for me to patch an iPhone and iPad. An utterly stupid waste of bandwidth.
“Delta” updates, which will fix that issue by only sending you the parts of the OS that have changed, are coming with the next major release of iOS this Fall.
