  1. Google announced reaching 100 million Andriod devices worldwide May 10, and on June 28 tweeted they are over 500,000 activations a day (and +4.4% w/w) . So would that put them at about 130 million? Except I need to factor in the 4.4% going downward back to May, would some math whiz like to do that?. Maybe it was only 400,000 or so back in May. 125 million-ish?

  2. This is the part where it gets interesting. Android users don’t really download the apps. I am not saying there isn’t popular apps available, but more likely, users just don’t download them.

Reason is because android devices are available to anyone, even to the people who don’t even need it. Actually, -I don’t have accurate number- about more then half of the people I know who use android didn’t buy THE ANDROID, but rather just another phone.
